In modern agriculture, smart resource management is the key to success. Farmers are constantly seeking ways to reduce costs, increase yields, and improve the quality of their production. One of the most effective steps toward achieving these goals is soil analysis.
Soil analysis is the laboratory examination of soil, aimed at identifying its essential characteristics:
pH level (acidity or alkalinity)
Organic matter content
Macronutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and calcium
Micronutrients and trace elements, including iron, boron, zinc, and others
In simple terms, a soil analysis shows what the soil lacks and what it contains in excess.
Targeted fertilization means you apply only the nutrients your crops actually need — avoiding unnecessary fertilizer expenses.
A well-balanced soil promotes healthier plant growth, resulting in higher and better-quality harvests.
By applying fertilizers correctly, you reduce nutrient losses to the soil and water, supporting more sustainable farming practices.
Continuous soil monitoring helps maintain and enhance soil fertility year after year.
Sampling – Soil samples are collected from different parts of the field, ideally following a pattern shaped like the letter W or like the five dots on dice.
The sampling depth depends on the crop type.
For vegetables: around 30 cm depth is sufficient.
For tree crops: the recommended depth is 30–60 cm.
Laboratory Analysis – Samples are examined for physical and chemical characteristics and nutrient content.
Results Report – You receive a detailed overview of the soil’s condition based on the optimal nutrient levels for each crop.
Fertilization Plan – Based on the analysis results, a targeted fertilization plan is created. The recommendations are expressed in nutrient units to make them easy to understand and apply.
✔️ Lower production costs
✔️ Healthier plants
✔️ Higher and more consistent yields
✔️ Greater environmental responsibility
Soil analysis is not a luxury — it’s an investment.
Every farmer who wants to improve productivity and reduce costs should include it in their annual management plan.
With the knowledge your soil provides, you can make smarter decisions and lead your farming business toward a more efficient and sustainable future.
